No entries in a while, oops! Last week I woke up to an earthquake shaking my bed, how peculiar!

I just came back from a weekend trip up to Vermont to see the solar eclipse!!! I had been planning *for months* - and managed to organize a party at Radio Bean the day before the eclipse! I drove up with Gosia early on Saturday. We played a playlist we had made together and I took her to Hillside pizza - an organic pizza joint in Western Mass - and showed her where to get free coffee at one of the rest stops. A strange trumper old VT guy accosted us and asked if I was native american. Odd start to the trip.

Once we got to Burlington I showed Gosia around town - all my favorite spots, where I had my first apartment, the many places I tripped on acid. A little bit of everything. It was a gray cold day, I showed her the lake. I took her to city market and we got snacks and bought weed from a women-run weed store - they were super nice. We spent the first part of the night at the Angorage Inn - a "nuttin special" favorite of mine, with old wood paneling and a swimming pool. We watced the weather channel and ate mushroom chocolates and drank wine and ate chips and went swimming. The chocoloates were way stronger than I though they'd be and I started getting some visuals in the swimming pool. Gosia told me about how she got into RISD but ended up going to Cornell to study architecture and I told her that story made me understand her more. I got out of the pool and felt "heavy" like an astronaut coming down from space.

We took an uber into town and tried to find a more "adult" bar, but I ended up getting distracted by a basketball game because I was excited to see Connecticut winning. We ended up meeting with Aliya and her friend Adam at the OP bar. I was super drunk and high and told them all about how I hadn't had sex in a year and a half. It was good to se Aliya after not seeing her for so long.

The next day we woke up and had our "nuttin fancy" contintental breakfast - packaged pain au chocolat and coffee. We got nice raspberry chololate and a beeswax candle for Amelia - whose house we'd be staying at the rest of our trip. I hadn't seen her in years but she offered to let me and Gosia stay which was so nice!! We drove over and her and her partner's apartment was *so* cute - in the New North End, super close to the beach. Lots of cool books and stickers and grateful dead merch, old Penny Cluse cafe menu, Bread and Puppet print. Little dolphin door handle. Amelia said it was the house she grew up in - her mom lived in a converted garage just next door who we also met and was incredibly nice. We stayed in her partner's office - which looked like the coolest punk teen's bedroom ever with dozens of records, posters and band merch.

We had the show at Radio bean later that night. Katy Hellman, Vega, and Amelia all played sets and I Dj'd after. I was so nervous and I think I was sort of getting in the way when we were setting things up, but the show happened without a hitch! My first show I ever planned :') Everyone's sets were so incredibly beautiful, and I felt super emotional about the whole thing.
omg I'm kinda tired I should finish the rest tomorrow...
